ABOUT
Join us on Saturday 22nd February 6:30-9pm for sacred cacao and dance. The evening is intended to help shake off the cobwebs of Winter, release tension and stagnation, and bring feelings of inspiration, freedom and vitality for the new season approaching. You definitely do not need to be a ‘good’ dancer. It is more about discovering how your body wants and needs to move, and you can keep your eyes closed if you’d like to!
We’ll begin by drinking a delicious cup of ceremonial cacao served by Suzie, who will then guide us on an inner journey with gentle intuitive movement. This will help to bring us into our bodies and our hearts, ready to get dancing. Viki will then lead us into a moving meditation using silent disco headsets. This will help awaken your energy and let your body flow, lighting with your inner spark as we move towards Spring. Viki will guide us to into a judgment-free space of joyful dance.
Cacao is the perfect partner for both music and movement, helping to connect us more deeply with our hearts, our authentic selves, those around us, and mama Earth.
This event will be held at South Lynn Community Centre, to give us plenty of room to move!
*Early bird prices end on Sunday 9th February*
YOUR FACILITATORS
VIKI HUGHES
Founder and director of The Wild Hub. A mum of two with a passion for bringing people together. She loves nature, exploring new places, and dancing! Her journey started in 2022 when she realised the need for more mental health support for parents. Her own health scare and becoming a parent during the pandemic further fueled a desire to create a community focused on well-being and connection. She has since undertaken training in Shiatsu massage, children’s yoga, and holistic integrated creative arts therapy.

SUZIE NIMMO
Suzie is the founder of Ahimsa, a mother, nature lover, and cacaoista who has trained with both Cacao Mama and Rebekah Shaman. Over the years, she’s served thousands of cups of cacao, and sat in other plant medicine ceremonies across the world. She’s studied various spiritual traditions, including gaining a masters degree in Buddhism, and sees beauty and truth in all religions. However, she has found her way back to her roots in Celtic shamanism and rewilding, and has a deep love of Gaelic folklore and traditional music. She has found cacao, intuitive movement, and ecstatic dance to be deeply transformational, healing, and freeing practices.

THE CACAO ELIXIR
Suzie will brew a warm elixir for us to share, a little like a hot chocolate but richer and more full-bodied. It will contain the highest quality, organic, plantbased and natural ingredients (highest quality heirloom ceremonial-grade cacao*, finest fresh madagascan vanilla, organic coconut blossom sugar, organic gluten-free oat milk, and rose petals). Please advise of any allergens and dietary preferences beforehand so we can make sure these are catered for. We are very happy to omit any ingredients or prepare a separate brew for you if needed.
*We’ll work with a beautiful heart-opening ceremonial cacao from Peru. Ethically-sourced through a workers co-operative of small family farmers to chemical free organic standards, hand-harvested, and selected for quality. Fostering bio-diversity and social responsibility offering fair distribution of income, employment, and education support. With high levels of antioxidants, magnesium, calcium, vitamins & essential amino acids. Raw, organic, non-GMO, fair trade, zerowaste, and plantbased.

FAQ
Where will it take place?
South Lynn Community Centre, 10 St Michaels Road, King’s Lynn, PE30 5HE.
The centre has an on-site car park with approximately 50 spaces (including disabled spaces).
Who is it for?
This is an inclusive event, open to all. You don’t need any previous experience or need to follow any religious or spiritual beliefs. If you have any accessibility needs or would like a prefer to sit on a chair, please let us know so we can ensure the space is set up for you.
Is Cacao safe?
Cacao is legal, and considered safe and deeply nourishing for the body, though some people can be sensitive to it. It is psychoactive but not psychedelic, and it is more gentle on the nervous system than many of the other master plant teachers. If you are taking anti depressants or SSRI’s (MAOI based anti-depressants are contra-indicated with chocolate), have a heart condition (though cacao is fantastic for cardiovascular health, it increases blood flow to the heart by at least 40%), or are pregnant (women who are pregnant can have wonderful experiences with cacao and it is even used in the birthing process in some cultures, however, as it is a stimulant smaller doses are recommended), please make us aware beforehand, so that we can prepare a less potent dose. You are never obliged to drink your cup, and even if you choose not to partake or only drink a little you can still join in with the journey and will feel the magical energy of the group. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
What should I bring?
The only thing you really need to bring is yourself, but the following items can help you to have the best experience:
