Cacao + Dance
Join us on Saturday 22nd February 6:30-9pm at South Lynn Community Centre for sacred cacao and dance. The evening is intended to help shake off the cobwebs of Winter, release tension and stagnation, and bring feelings of inspiration, freedom and vitality for the new season approaching. You definitely do not need to be a ‘good’ dancer. It is more about discovering how your body wants and needs to move, and you can keep your eyes closed if you’d like to!
We’ll begin by drinking a delicious cup of ceremonial cacao served by Suzie, who will then guide us on an inner journey with gentle intuitive movement. This will help to bring us into our bodies and our hearts, ready to get dancing. Viki will then lead us into a dance meditation using silent disco headsets. This will help awaken your energy and let your body flow, lighting with your inner spark as we move towards Spring. Viki will guide us to feel safe in a judgment-free space of joyful dance.
Cacao is the perfect partner for both music and movement, helping to connect us more deeply with our hearts, our authentic selves, those around us, and mama Earth.
Though we’d love to hold this in nature, the evenings will still be cold so the event will be held at South Lynn Community Centre to keep us warm and give us plenty of room to move!
*Early bird prices end on Sunday 9th February*
