ABOUT
Blue Lotus flowers are a tropical lily that features blue star shaped flowers, native to the Nile delta. The seeds and root are also edible. Many associated medicinal properties. Widely used among other lilies within Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese medicine.

Water, sun, fire, earth. Known as a fourfold in the natural world.
MAGICKAL FOLKLORE
Native to Eygpt, the flowers were used to honour the living and the dead as a symbol of eternal life. Known as a symbol of the sun god Ra. Can be used in blessings to the sun and to connect to the divine. In Buddhism it is seen to be the flower to overcome victory of the senses with intelligence and wisdom.
